Molly’s Mission

Breaking news!
Molly's eye removal surgery inspired an angel donor to match donations up to $2000. We estimate Molly's pre-op, surgery and post-op expenses to be around $2000. If we can match this amount, the funds will be used for Save SomeBunny's existing foster and sanctuary bunnies. We are a small group struggling to survive. Save SomeBunny is a 501c3 non profit run entirely by volunteers.

We are calling this campaign Molly's Mission!

As of 10.25.22 we received $575. That is a great headstart for Molly's Mission Match.

As of 11.05.22 we are at $1859.23. We are so close to hitting our Molly's Mission Match campaign goal.

Back story and donation options below.
Sanctuary sweetheart Molly, had surgery to remove both her eyes on October 19,2022.

Molly had several examinations by rabbit savvy vet, Dr Kanfer @exoticanimalvet and an optometrist. It was determined she was blind in both eyes, had painful glaucoma, eye ulcers, weepy eyes, matted fur & infected skin. Her daily care included eye drops 10 times per day. Removing both eyes during the same surgery was better than to put her through the prep and process twice.

Molly is part of a sanctuary fluffle. Her sanctuary bunny friends include Truman, Snyder & Cleo. They help each other heal physically and mentally.

Save SomeBunny is a small 501c3, non profit rabbit sanctuary run entirely by volunteers. We rely on public donations to survive.
