• Velvet was part of a colony of domestic rabbits that has grown up in Huntington Beach as the result of dumping. The colony is on the grounds of an elementary school, in a small farm section. It has been there for years and once numbered 500+. There are currently about 150 rabbits, the majority of whom have been spayed/neutered as the result of the tireless efforts of Golden Rabbit Rescue. Unfortunately some bunnies slipped through the “fixing” process and a couple of litters have been born.
What a lucky day for Velvet and her new parents! May you live a long, happy, loved life!

Boo is one of 8 babies that were brought to a local shelter with no mother at about 3 weeks old.
Today was his very lucky day, he will join the family of Luna and Orion and their mom @canady_bunnies. He is now named Aldrin. Thank you for providing an excellent home for this special little man. He is expressive and cuddly and most certainly adorable.
